Previous workshops
The International University of Andalusia (UNIA) started the workshop series titled "Current Trends in Biomedicine" in 2004, with 2 workshops. From 2005 until 2008, 4 workshops were held every year, and the series was supported and sponsored by the "Instituto de Salud Carlos III" (an autonomous public research organism of the Spanish Government), in a joint collaboration with the UNIA. In spite of the end of this collaboration, the series continues: there were 6 workshops in 2009, and there are 5 workshops "Current Trends in Biomedicine" programmed for 2010.
